Below is an update for August 26, 2010.

Staff Lunch - Wednesday, Sept. 1
PTSA will be putting together a lunch for the staff on Wednesday, Sept. 1.  We would like to provide a nice lunch for them, to let them know we appreciate what they will be doing for our kids.  If you can bring a nice casserole, hot dish, sandwiches, salad, appetizer, any main dish, juice, or any other item, please deliver it to the school library WED., Sept. 1st, no later than 10:45am.
If you can help, or if you have any questions, please e-mail lhsptsa2011@live.com.  Please also e-mail to let us know what you are bringing so we can compile a list of what we have.
The PTSA budget is VERY small, so we are heavily dependent on volunteers to bring items and for help.  Thank you!

* FOR FRESHMEN - FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL WEDNESDAY, SEPT 1:

Please report to the Commons area.  There will be teachers and staff to direct you upon arrival.  You will receive additional instructions from there.

For Freshmen Parents:  After you drop your kids off, you can come in and pay for their fees, with Mrs. Barbara Koch in the Commons (the window office on the first floor).  Parents should not stay with their kids.  Feel free to visit the PTSA table near the entrance.

School Supplies

There is officially no supply list for our high school students.  It is suggested to have the basics.....binder, paper, pens/pencils on the first day.  Each teacher will tell them specifically what is needed for their particular class.

LHS Boosters Club Meeting, Sept. 13, 7:00pm, LHS Library.
The first Boosters Club meeting for the school year will be Monday, Sept. 13, 7:00pm, at the LHS Library.  We hope to have parents who have never been involved, or new freshmen parents come participate!  Boosters will need new volunteer help for the new year, and we're counting on the Lindbergh parents!  Questions?  Contact us at lindbergh.boosters@gmail.com

LHS Boosters Concessions Help Wanted!
Please come and help in the Boosters concession stand and earn 30% of the sales for your team or club for that night.

Volleyball
9/7, 9/9, 9/14, 9/16, 9/20, 9/30, 10/5 and 10/7 
 
 
You will need to provide a parent and 1 or 2 students for setup (4:30 -5:30), Jv Game (5:30-7:00) and Varsity Game & Clean up (7:00 - end).
 

Varsity Football Game 

The first game will be Friday, Sept 3rd  -  Lindbergh v. Rainier Beach at Renton Memorial Stadium, 7:00pm  -  Enter at Home Side

Lindbergh is the HOME team this Friday.  All LHS fans should park and sit on the SOUTH side of the stadium.

The Boosters Club will have spirit wear for sale.  Please come and show your support for the 2009 Seamount League Champions, for another great year of football!

Note:  Since ASB cards for 2010-11 have not been issued yet, students can bring a photo ID.  Their names will be checked against a master list of everyone who has paid for their ASB sticker, and can enter for free.

Lindbergh Sports Clearance Information.
Sports clearance papers are available in the LHS attendance office.  For students who have already had their physicals done, there are additional papers that need to be signed by parents (e.g., Concussion Information sheet, and two other documents).  Please see Amelia Clark in the attendance office, or e-mail her at Amelia.Clark@rentonschools.us
